Originally from Nebraska, Terry came to Los Angeles at the age of 24 to pursue his dream of writing screenplays. His creativity spanned different mediums as he gained success writing Christian plays for local churches and produced an independent film. And just when it seemed as though he was ready to pursue a full time career as a writer, God unexpectedly closed the door on this dream. God asked Terry to walk away from Hollywood, and he did. In the years following, he met his wife, started a family, and began working at a Christian radio station. Through his relationships at the station, he has developed a successful career working closely with churches and ministries locally and from around the world, putting hands and feet to his faith in Jesus Christ.
During this time, the stories and characters he loves remained in his mind and heart, and Terry patiently waited for their chance to be told. And 3 years ago, God finally gave Terry the green light to write again. Cynthia’s Dance is the first of these stories that has been 34 years in the making. Just like Cynthia, God has taken Terry on an unexpected journey of starts and stops throughout his life, but ultimately, Terry surrenders to the Lord’s perfect timing.
